I just found out Chris Sligh has been voted off American Idol. (I forgot to watch last week.) However, it turns out that he and his band recorded an album before he went on the show and it released last week.
Isn't that a fabulous turn of events? Talk about a great way to promote your album on all of those morning television show interviews. Instead of giving them the gory details of how sad you are and how wronged you were by Simon, you pitch your new music venture. If he hadn't tried out for Idol at the last minute, you'd think that type of press strategy was planned!
